John Phillips’ career spans over 40 years within the human resources domain across the Corporate, Indigenous and Not-For-Profit sectors in Ireland. Following an engineering, manufacturing career with Mitel, he moved into Human Resources and Talent Development with Digital Equipment and spent over 16 years with Motorola, latterly as Country Manager and Supplier Business Relations Director.
John subsequently held the positions of:
Human Resources & Talent Management Director (EMEA) for Elan Pharmaceuticals; Owner/Founder of John Phillips & Associates;
Head of Human Resources for Milford Care Centre; Group Human Resources Manager
Dornan Engineering before moving into recruitment with Principal Connections Executive Search and now working with the RFT Group.
John holds’ an undergraduate Degree in Electronic Engineering from Middlesex University, London, and he has achieved Diploma’s in Personnel Management and Executive Coaching amongst other academic accolades. He is also Certified Level A and B by the British Psychological Society
