Operational Excellence Manager
Our client, a blue-chip Medtech company, now seeks an Operational Excellence Manager on a full-time permanent basis to work as part of the OPEX team within Operations function. This is a hybrid role, require 3-4 days on site in Galway.
The successful candidate will lead embed a culture of continuous improvement into the campus through a focus on Production Unit Excellence, Business Service Excellence, Continuous Improvement Re-views, Strategic Thinking and a mindset that there are always opportunities to improve Culture.
This hire will be a key role for Operations driving the organization on their cultural journey in line with site strategy; in delivering excellence through tactical plans and execution and influencing all stakeholders through effective communication, program management and execution of such.
Additionally, this hire will drive strong systems-thinking, while owning and improving the process by which each business support area improves its key systems including Value Stream Mapping and associated tools.
Requirements for Operational Excellence Manager:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Engineering field. Master’s preferred.
At least 10+ years’ in an operations environment; 5+ years of which in leadership capacity.
Proven experience in Operational Excellence Management with track record in delivering programs within similar large and complex environments.
Depth of stakeholder management experience, across large and diverse groups locally and globally.
